To develop a LOAD PROFILE kit that provides, for the first time, a LOAD patient’s profile for accurate diagnosis and identification of potential therapeutic targets

LOAD is a multifactorial disease, where four cellular organisation levels, namely genetics, epigenetics, protein expression and protein activity but also environmental factors contribute to the pathology/etiology. This project plans to develop devices, diagnostic tools, and algorithms for establishing and interpreting a patient’s LOAD profile of biomarkers in routine analysis. This will, for the first time, cover all four cellular organisation levels which should enable accurate diagnosis and identify potential personalised therapeutic targets.
